Job Duties:
Carry out specific tasks, which are required for effective
and efficient patient care in a pre-hospital setting, and/or on intra-facility
transfers. Promote courteous and professional interactions with co-workers, patients and other professionals. Enhance the company’s reputation, help promote a smooth working relationship between management and employees and
maintain company equipment.
Qualifications:
Holds current certification as an EMT by the National Registry and/or
Commonwealth of Kentucky, and/or other state(s) as required. High
school diploma or equivalent. Meets specific departmental criteria
and/or certification. Achieves and maintains current American Heart
Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification.
Must be ACLS certified and possess a current Paramedic certification from applicable states. Must be in
a physical condition.
On a regular basis in order to remove patients from scenes. Must be able to think and act calmly and quickly in emergency situations. Must be
able to write and speak English fluently and clearly. Valid Drivers License and eligibility for
driving privileges based on current policy.
