Job Duties:
Carry out specific tasks, which are required for effective
and efficient patient care in a pre-hospital setting, and/or on intra-facility
transfers. Promote courteous and
professional interactions with co-workers, patients and other
professionals. Enhance the company’s
reputation, help promote a smooth working relationship between management and
employees and maintain company equipment.
Qualifications:
Holds current certification as an EMT by the National Registry and/or
Commonwealth of Kentucky, and/or other state(s) as required. High
school diploma or equivalent. Meets specific departmental criteria
and/or certification. Achieves and maintains current American Heart
Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification.
Successful completion of medical center, nursing division and unit
specific orientation/validation program. Validations of proficiency and
competency will be completed during orientation and at least annually
thereafter.
